JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEW
The Senior Learning Consultant is responsible for the assessment, design, delivery, and ongoing learning and development programs across all teams to support TriNet’s operational excellence. They will assist Talent Management (TM) with planning and supervising the development and implementation of all new hire, cyclical, technical and non-technical training curriculums. The Senior Learning Consultant Analyst ensures appropriate training solutions are provided to enable efficient and effective execution of key business initiatives. This individual is responsible for encouraging close relationships with Leaders and Subject Matter Authorities to ensure program and project success. This role will assist with the execution of re-organization plans including communication and change management. The Senior Learning Consultant will handle content, identify & assesses learning goals, supervise progress towards meeting goals, and collect & present data to evaluate the learning process, design and facilitate content for internal programs and coordinate training and other logistical L&D activities. The Senior Learning Consultant will serve as a consultant, coach, and resource to Leaders in addressing team development needs and deliver learning through various formats including classroom, web, and e-learning.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
• Proven ability to develop curriculum from concept to fruition, meeting Partner objectives and deadlines
• Provide comprehensive project analysis and retrospective feedback regarding best practices, overcoming obstacles and proposal of solutions
• Improve operational outcomes and behaviors through developmental offerings
• Effectively engage and connect with key stakeholders to enhance program offering awareness and utilization
• Develop creative, effective solutions to business problems
• Create program or curricula-level design strategy documents, develop communication plans, and drive project management activities to support sophisticated learning strategies
• Supports the strategy for integrated processes and programs in the areas of talent management and employee engagement
• Coordination of activities including alignment with subject matter authorities (SMAs) and other TM team members to ensure project completion on time and schedule and availability to target audience
• Shown ability to collaborate with and influence leaders regarding workforce planning activities.
• Coordination, development and administration of pre- and post training activities, including testing, certification and coaching/reinforcement efforts in support of development
• Schedule and coordinate training classes to ensure knowledge is learned by identified timelines
• Utilize adult learning principles and training philosophies to ensure utilization of a variety of vehicles which leads to increased knowledge retention
• Develop or select teaching aids, such as training workbooks, participant guides, infographics, videos, hands on e-learning tutorials and reference materials
• Confer with SMEs to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations and technologies
• Build and maintain effective business relationships with SMEs and teams throughout the organization
• Maintain expert knowledge of training programs and systems usage
• Personal development and accomplishment of appropriate departmental goals
• Recommend and develop solutions to improve any findings from all customer data sources
• Leads and coordinates service related projects and activities to ensure continuous quality improvement initiatives via training initiatives
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations
• Apply TriNet standards to develop deliverables that follow the TriNet style guide and branding
• Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates):
• ATD, DDI, industry training certifications preferred
• Instructional design principles including assessment, development and measurement, preferred
• Project Management Professional Certification preferred

Experience:
• Minimum 8 years’ experience of facilitation of adult learning
• Development of training programs based on needs assessment results or identified service opportunity preferred
• Shown expertise using instructional methods and training techniques, including curriculum design principles and blended learning strategies
• Experience handling multiple projects under tight time constraints
• Excellent training skills, including dynamic and professional communication and presentation capabilities, both virtual and in person
• Experience working in a HR Outsourcing/PEO environment a plus
• Customer Service experience required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite/O365

• Considerable skills in process improvement/business transformation, customer service, leadership, and team building
• Experience with design, development and execution of learning/training programs rooted in Adult Learning principles
• Ability to quickly learn new, complex technologies and concepts
• Ability to complete statistical analysis of data, identify trends and recommend solutions to improve conformance to quality requirements
• Ability to effectively meet customer needs, taking ownership for customer satisfaction
• Ability to maintain effectiveness and professionalism when experiencing change in work tasks and/or the work environment
• Ability to work well under pressure and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced environment
• Uses research and industry best practices to influence innovative solutions
• Uses expertise and strong communication skills to influence leaders and teams; is comfortable operating on influence without authority
• Works to increase own knowledge and skills to meet organizational needs and to stretch organizational thinking

WORK ENVIRONMENT/OTHER INFORMATION (Travel required, physical requirements, on-call schedules, etc.)
• Minimum travel required – 25%
• Sitting/standing for long periods of time is necessary
• Moderate noise level
