Senior Analyst, SOX Quality Control

The Quality Control Sr. Analyst will be an important member of the Payroll Tax and Pricing Operations Team. This person will have a minimum of five year’s public accounting audit and SOX experience, understand structured QA/QC methodology, and be able to create appropriate testing procedures to ensure the SOX environment is functioning as designed throughout the year. Communication skills will be key as the analyst will work closely with control owners, process owners, management and SOX Compliance to identify and correct errors, and drive process improvements. Must be comfortable in a dynamic, fast paced, and rapidly evolving environment. An understanding of change management, a vision for a strong control environment, and desire to be a good business partner is essential.

• Applying structured QA/QC methodology to provide quality control analysis to Pricing controls
• Partnering with control owners to correct errors/exceptions and conduct root cause analysis
• Partnering with control owners and management to drive process improvement
• Managing controls through process change
• Documenting processes, controls and risks using swim lanes, control maps, and data flows with tools such as Visio
• Understanding and communicating audit requirements, dates, and feedback
• Preparing and coaching control owners to execute walkthroughs with internal or external audit
• Attending SOX audits and supporting control owners throughout the audit process including assisting with any remediation documentation
• Other projects and duties as required

Education: Undergraduate degree in business, finance or accounting.

Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates): CPA or CIA preferred.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in internal audit, public accounting, or QC/documentation function
• Experience with process testing and analysis
• Financial experience a plus
• Lean/Six Sigma a plus

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Support continuous improvement processes, analyzing problems and recommending actions for effective resolution
• Demonstrated ability to identify financial risks and gaps that can impact SOX compliance
• Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities
• Strong MS Office Skills including Visio
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent collaboration, team work and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Process and detail oriented
• Must be able to prioritize daily tasks and meet critical deadlines
• A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace

• Minimal travel may be required.
