JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEW
The Marketing Intern – Event Marketing internship is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience while working on a variety of marketing events and campaigns. We are looking for a highly motivated, proactive and detail-oriented student to assist the TriNet Field Marketing team. This intern will leave with a solid understanding of field marketing, events, and B2B sales.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with the planning and execution of marketing programs including tradeshows, sponsorships and prospecting events
• Perform research tasks, including sourcing event venues and external vendors
• Assist in creation of event briefings to communicate program details to business stakeholders
• Support event administrative tasks including logistics, ordering of supplies, giveaways and shipping
• Event support at local events in person
• Data entry
• Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Working toward a college major in marketing, communications or business with a minimum 3.0+ GPA

Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates): None

Experience:

• 0 year marketing experience

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to take initiative and perform follow up
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks at once
• Enjoys working in a high pace, high energy position
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Work and PowerPoint)
