JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEW
The Distribution Lead is responsible for the day to day functionality of the Distribution department by ensuring that processes are followed and that the colleagues on the Distribution stay on point in order to ensure that payrolls are shipped timely and accurately to clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
• Serve as a subject expert to address escalations and concerns
• Modify priorities in line with changing business demands
• Perform regular performance reviews to direct reports and take correction action when necessary
• Drive operational improvements by monitoring, enhancing and streamlining process flows with emphasis on automation and efficiency
• Participate on projects as assigned
• Respond to and/or contact colleagues as directed or required to resolve questions, issues or escalations
• Deliver superior written and verbal customer service
• Provide support to other departments including, but not limited to, Benefits, Flexible
Spending Accounts, Payroll Processing and Retirement
• Work cross-functionally with other TriNet colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and build cohesive
interdepartmental relationships
• Oversee daily operations of the distribution department
• Maintain standards of operating procedures for distribution department
• Ensure process and procedures are followed
• Implement new procedures when warranted
• Ensure regular maintenance of all hardware: including but not limited to printers, postage machine and folders
• Maintain department supplies
• Facilitate the shipping of internal and external customer materials
• Communicate with Distribution team and leadership to maintain work flow
• Comply with all TriNet policies
• Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion.
• Provide daily detailed feedback to distribution leadership regarding workload and dept colleagues

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Highschool diploma; or equivalent education and/or related work experience

Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates):
• Salesforce training preferred
• Microsoft office training/certificate or 3 years’ experience

Experience:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a distribution or logistics environment
• Leadership experience would be ideal but not required

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent delegation and facilitation skills
• A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
• Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while handling multiple priorities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to maintain a calm demeaner under pressure

WORK ENVIRONMENT/OTHER INFORMATION (Travel required, physical requirements, on-call schedules, etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to lift and move items weighing up to 30 pounds
• Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills
• A commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
• Must be detail oriented and highly organized
• General knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft based applications and databases
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Ability to follow established procedures in a timely, accurate manner
• Ability to create and comprehend reports and spreadsheets
• Ability to maintain effectiveness and professionalism when experiencing change in work tasks and/or the work environment
