JOB SUMMARY
We strive to further ServiceNow's usage within TriNet with new capabilities offered by ServiceNow or build those capabilities the business' clamor for. We have exploited the power of the platform to ensure the most pressing business needs are addressed. As a member of the Service Management team, you will participate and drive technical solutions that'll champion the usage of the ServiceNow platform within TriNet.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead ServiceNow development work and engineer solutions to meet delivery of various projects' requirements.
• The developer will work with members of the internal and the extended team including vendors to develop, functional test, implement, document, and deploy new functionalities or enhancements / fixes.
• Analyze business requirements to configure / develop / enable capabilities using ServiceNow platform. Guide team of developers to follow coding standards, SNOW environment synchronization / cloning on periodic basis and support platform upgrades.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
• Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering desired, or equivalent education and/or related work experience.

Experience:
• 6+ years of experience working with ITSM solutions in an enterprise environment 5+ years of ServiceNow development / implementation / integration / administrative experience 3+ years of experience.
• Working in team of developer(s) onsite and offshore.
• Experience working with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including AngularJS), XML, SOAP, REST, Jelly, etc.)
• Working with databases (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
• Integrating internal systems (hosted) and external systems (SaaS based) / applications like AWS, Microsoft O365, Adobe, Salesforce, Docusign, Box, Azure AD, Nagios, JIRA, etc.
• 3-5 years of fundamental understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including: SSO, SAML, OAUTH, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS.
• Providing training on using ServiceNow tool capabilities.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Support the development and configuration on various areas of ServiceNow platform including but not limited to ITSM Pro, ITOM, ITBM, SAM Pro, HAM Pro, Service Portal, CMDB, Discovery, Events, Legal, HR, and Finance.
• Using SCRUM / Agile stories methodologies complete development based on sprint / product backlogs, formulate functional testing approach, test cases and document them, support User Acceptance Tests and deploy code into Production in defined releases.
• Participate / conduct code walkthroughs with other team members, develop coding standards. Support ServiceNow version upgrades. Offer technical solutions to address complex requirements.
• Evaluate alternate solutions, identify the best option, and implement the solution. Analyze, solve, and fix identified ServiceNow system issues. Provide on-call support when ServiceNow Production issues occur as needed.
• Thrive in fast-paced environments, flexible and able to roll with changing business and technology environments

• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Strong collaboration skills works well in a team environment where team members may be distributed (not co-located).

Technical Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Beginner to intermediate knowledge of some of the following (not all required):
• Object-Oriented analysis and design skills from a customer-in vantage point
• Experience with multiple Software Development Lifecycle methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
• Agile (Scrum) project methodologies and development practices, particularly sprint planning and assessment, and test-driven development and continuous integration
• Integration/EAI technologies (e.g. Mulesoft, Pervasive, Informatica, Jitterbit, ESB, etc.),
• JavaScript, ASP,C++Java/J2EE, including SOAP, RESTful, .NET and related technologies (JSON, XML, etc)
• Common frameworks such as struts, spring, hibernate, etc. and database technologies (Oracle, MySQL, JDBC, SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures)

Certification:
ServiceNow Administrator Certifications, Certified ServiceNow Implementation Specialist, ITIL foundations is a plus.
