Job Summary/Overview

The Senior Security Training and Awareness Analyst will be responsible for identifying and implementing a security training program that addresses key threats and risks, and raises the overall security awareness throughout the organization.


Essential Duties/Responsibilities

 • Works with leadership to develop and maintain the strategy for security training and awareness programs
• Establishes, implements, and maintains training and awareness programs, requirements, and standards based on the analysis of industry best practices and key risk areas such as email phishing, ransomware and social engineering
• Coordinates with the HR Talent Management team and other governance teams to conduct a needs assessment to centrally identify and roll out training and awareness programs
• Develops and delivers security content through various communication methods including email newsletters, intranet postings and white papers, facilitation of trainings and workshops.
• Coordinates specific role-based training to teams who have critical roles or have access to sensitive information
• Promotes and evangelizes awareness of different security and compliance risks through targeted awareness messages, roadshows, lunch-and-learns and incentives to promote secure behavior
• Updates material to support current and new training programs and ensures material stays up to date
• Produces actionable reports to measure progress and evaluate effectiveness of training
• Develops and maintains KPIs around security awareness


Job Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, or other related business discipline preferred or equivalent work experience.

Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates):
• Certified Security Awareness Practitioner (CSAP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

• 6+ years of experience in a Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) role or related Information Security role (including 4+ years experience with Security Training and Awareness)

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Familiarity with security awareness training software such as KnowBe4, Proofpoint, Inspired eLearning.
• Knowledge of published security standards (NIST, OWASP, ISO, SOC2)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills

• An understanding of business needs and commitment to delivering high-quality, prompt, and efficient service to the business
• Excellent prioritization capabilities, with an aptitude for breaking down work into manageable parts, effectively assessing the priority and time required to complete each part
• An ability to work on several tasks simultaneously and pay attention to sources of information from inside and outside one’s network within an organization
• Strong decision-making capabilities, with a proven ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate one
• An ability to effectively influence others to modify their opinions, plans, or behaviors, with an emphasis on collaborating across multiple teams and ensuring program needs are satisfied through interpersonal and trusted communication.

• Minimal travel required.
