Job summary/overview
TriNet is seeking a hands-on Senior Product Manager to drive the development of our next-generation integration ecosystem product. This role includes responsibility for developing product strategies, generating product requirements; resolving specifications, building and managing roadmaps, and working closely with a cross-functional team of stakeholders to drive implementation. In-depth technical knowledge of product integration technologies, identity and access management, APIs, and cloud architecture, coupled with a solid understanding of delivering to customer and business expectations and requirements. The TriNet platform integrates with an ecosystem of third-party systems, including Accounting Systems, ERPs, Identity Management systems, Application Tracking, and more.

Essential duties/responsibilities
Identify and document product and business requirements from concept to production.
Prioritize the product backlog with clearly articulated benefits, while keeping orderly and running ongoing feature and bug requests.
Create and refine the vision and strategy for our Integration products for partners and clients
Build and deliver an integration product roadmap with a specific emphasis on providing clear return on investment to customers and defining sustainable competitive differentiation
Identify market opportunities to onboard new partners to our Integration Ecosystem, launch new integrations and APIs, sunset existing Integrations and APIs, and expand our Integration and API features
Define and promote good developer experience, and help establish integration standards in our products
Lead all aspects of feature prioritization for the Integration Ecosystem and API product, and keep the initiatives running on time within an agile development environment
Own features from conception to launch, working with our design, engineering, and QA teams to deliver improvements to our product
Work with Integration partners, customers, and internal stakeholders inside and outside to develop a deep understanding of user needs, behavior, and metrics, looking for ways to improve key product metrics and our user experience
Work with technical writing and marketing to produce public-facing documentation including Integration Guides, FAQs etc. outlining integrations products, benefits, and usage
Help establish a structured approach to user research in our product development process
Collaborate with our compliance/infosec, marketing, business stakeholders, and operations teams to coordinate significant product launches
Work directly with Product Leadership to shape the long-term product and business direction
Work with CX and UX design to create an intuitive and engaging customer experience
Other product related projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion.
Job requirements and qualifications
Education: 
Bachelor's degree with equivalent work-related experience
Master’s degree preferred
Experience: 
5+ years of Product Management experience in a Product Manager role
3+ years of technical product management experience in a hands-on environment with integration and authentication technologies such as HTTP/HTTPS, REST, Web Services and APIs, API Gateway, JSON, SSO, SAML, Open ID Connect, Oauth 2.0, and OpenAPI/Swagger
Proven experience conceptualizing AI/ML use cases to solve business problems. 
2+ years of successful AI/ML delivery at scale working closely with Data Scientists and Data Engineers
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 
Demonstrate a Customer Services/Customer First mind-set and an unquestioned dedication to building extraordinary products with a great UX team
Confirmed experience building integrations and APIs by partnering with 3rd party developers and customers or building app ecosystems/marketplaces.
Understanding of HCM technology space and application of AI within the HCM world a plus
Strong familiarity with cloud, AI/ML models and data platforms
Actively seeks to understand needs, challenges, expectations, and industry landscape.
Ability to adapt to a fast paced, constantly evolving business and work environment while handling multiple priorities.
Ability to communicate with, build trust and influence colleagues and customers at all levels.
Effectively lead projects and facilitate team interactions.
Continuous follow-up and follow-through with stakeholders.
Experience with or knowledge of cloud-based solutions (SaaS) a plus.
Agile development methodologies like Scrum experience.
Excellent communication, written, organizational and presentation skills. Proactive interpersonal skills to engage and work collaboratively with cross functional teams.
Knowledge of PEO and Human Resource products, services, and markets, as well as operations, cross-functional workflows, and interaction between the various company units, processes, and systems, a plus.

Currently this role is remote. Future state may require a minimum of <20% travel.
