JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEW
The Sr. Manager, FP&A – Technology is responsible for leading business and financial partnership to TriNet’s Technology Function. The person in this position provides budgets, forecasts, and financial reports & analyses for all Technology department(s) and/or member(s) of the management team and serves as liaison to assist them with all their financial needs. The Sr. FP&A Manager also provides regular support to other Finance-related functions, such as the month end close process inclusive of CapEx/OpEx assessment(s). Additionally, the person in this position assists in analyzing strategic endeavors, new business opportunities, platform roadmap attainment, CapEx/OpEx, long-term forecasting, new product ROI, and other ad hoc projects as required. The direct report(s) to this role includes up to two Senior Financial Analysts & reports to the Executive Director, FP&A – Technology & Customer Experience.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
 Lead FP&A business partner to the Technology Function
 Develop up to two Senior Financial Analysts in supporting team & project leaders within the Technology Function.
 Partner with resources driving business Transformation throughout TriNet.
 Ensure OpEx forecast accuracy and maximize ROI of the platform development Roadmap
 Lead development of the Technology Functions budgets and update forecasts based on ongoing business performance
 Drive transparency to operational effectiveness to leaders within the Technology Function, FP&A and Executive Leadership (primarily CFO & COO); Subject matter expert for Technology’s financial Key Performance Indicators
 Report on actual financial results against targets, provide analysis of variances, and assist in guidance on future trends
 Provide support to other Finance departments and functions such as, but not limited to:
o Accounting during month end close process
o Influence strong cross-functional communications and enhance efficiencies by leading teams through process improvement efforts
o Actively support ongoing improvement of TriNet’s financial, planning and business intelligence systems
o Perform ad hoc financial analysis projects and report preparation as identified by management team
o Ad-Hoc reporting and analysis
o Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred.
Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates): CPA or CMA preferred; Tableau certification preferred

Experience:
- 3+ years’ experience as Manager Financial Planning and Analysis, or like experience

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong leadership skills required
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Tableau dashboard development
- Essbase, Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Strategic Finance, PeopleSoft Financials preferred
- Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
- Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated
- Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity
- Customer-focused
- A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
- Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities

WORK ENVIRONMENT/OTHER INFORMATION (Travel required, physical requirements, on-call schedules, etc.)
- Some travel required (5-25%)
- Overtime as required (0-25 hours per month)
- Work in clean, pleasant, and comfortable office setting
- Noise level in the environment is usually moderate
