JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEW:

The Senior Sales Ops Data Analyst is responsible for (1) sales data enrichment, analysis, reporting and managing the deduping data application and (2) optimizing sales efficiency by refining processes and designing systematic enhancements. This role will ensure that we have clear operational processes in place and will monitor adherence to them and maintained operational reporting and dashboards within Salesforce and Tableau. This role will work with cross-functional teams to identify variance to plan with the goal of improving the quality and integrity of the data. This resource is required to prepare business requirements, workflow diagrams and detailed step-by-step operating procedure documents for automation changes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify data process inefficiencies, design, and implement solutions, and track progress continuously to improve data quality in leads, contacts, and account records
• Understand end to end business processes, flow of data within and between processes and recommend process improvements for better territory planning and forecasting process.
• Develop technical and functional specifications based on business requirements and
analysis of relevant workflows.
• Optimize all data sources (ZoomInfo, Crunchbase and MiEdge)
• Provide reporting coupled with suggested actions to leaders whose teams provide master data inputs to reduce data quality issues, non-value record maintenance, and process deviation.
• Oversee ongoing data hygiene efforts and increase data accuracy
• Identifies issues in data quality that would impact lead assignment and reporting (i.e. duplicate records, missing data, etc.)
• Develop and implement a periodic review, inclusive of robust reporting, of all master data to ensure data is current and accurate across business functions, conforms to business rules, and meets data quality standards
• Build dashboards, data visualizations, and analytics using Tableau
• Work closely with sales strategy and leadership to define and understand the company’s Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy and analyze downstream impact to existing operations
• Address questions from the Sales Teams related to data management and rules of engagement
• Act as subject matter expert for any reporting needs, build data quality dashboards and reports to track and monitor data accuracy
• Assist in the research for data mining, analytic and data quality assurance tools
• Responsible for resolving escalations that require in-depth research
• Perform data analysis in Salesforce using CRMFusion Demand Tool and other data deduplication applications in production and sandbox environment
• Work with cross-functional team to define business process and data needs on process-related IT projects, as well as supporting and executing end-to-end UAT
• Respond to ad hoc data analysis requests and provide technical assistance
• Complies with all data best practices, rules of engagement and data protocols
• Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree required

Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates):

Experience:
• 5-7 years experience in a sales operation, business planning, or sales support role.
• 5-7 years experience with Salesforce.com
• Minimum 2 years experience with Tableau
• Minimum two years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator
• Previous experience working with PRM applications
• Data cleanup skills required
• Experience with deduping application tools
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Collaborative team player who is detailed oriented, focused on solution quality and execution
