The Sr Pricing Analyst is responsible for building and executing on pricing strategies, tactics, and business models across product lines and customer segments. The Sr Pricing Analyst collaborates with Product Managers, Client Services, Sales, and other leaders across the organization to provide data driven insights and guidance on pricing strategies that optimize revenue and profitability, drive ongoing performance and support overall corporate goals.

•    Build robust pricing guidelines based on customer, solution, regional and vertical attributes to optimize revenue, improve profitability and gain agreement with key partners
•    Lead cross functional execution of pricing strategies and drive performance improvement
•    Develop and present pricing strategies, price assumptions and financial analysis to Senior Leadership
•    Collaborate with Product Managers, Client Services, Sales, Products and other partners on pricing strategies and programs
•    Perform data analysis on pricing critical metrics, prepare quarterly price performance reports and present measurable recommendations to Senior Leadership, Sales and Product Managers
•    Project impact of pricing changes, individual promotions and other special programs on revenue and profitability
•    Conduct deal win and deal loss analysis to understand the impact of pricing on win/loss rates
•    Develop and support complex pricing models to analyze client, product and portfolio profitability using large data sets and assumptions
•    Utilize competitive intelligence data to build and execute pricing strategies that promote TriNet value as compared to competitors
•    Create detailed models and analyses using mathematical and statistical techniques to find opportunities, evaluate the success of initiatives, and track continuous improvement
•    Maintain the security and confidentiality of pertinent information
•    Support automation through business intelligence
•    Other ad-hoc projects, special reporting and analysis as assigned by manager

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred
Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates): None
•    Minimum 8+ years’ experience in a similar environment, including price setting, profitability management and financial analysis
•    Advanced experience in data analytics
•    Experience in preparing presentations and presenting to senior leadership
•    Experience in a public company
•    Experience in insurance or other risk-based industries a plus
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 
•    High level of proficiency in MS Office applications: Advanced in Excel and Access, intermediate in PowerPoint and Word
•    Working knowledge of SFDC, Essbase, Tableau, SQL, PeopleSoft
•    Demonstrated understanding of pricing and profitability principles, structures, and techniques
•    Demonstrated ability to apply complex financial, statistical, analytical, and critical thinking principles
•    Ability to take complex, detailed financial analysis and condense into a summarized presentation
•    Excellent verbal, written, presentation and facilitation skills
•    Strong personal leadership and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
•    Self motivated professional and able to work with minimal direction
•    Demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
•    Ability to adapt to a fast paced constantly evolving business and work environment while managing multiple priorities

WORK ENVIRONMENT/OTHER INFORMATION (Travel required, physical requirements, on-call schedules, etc.)
•    Some travel required (5-15%)
•    Occasional work outside of standard working hours is to be expected (0-25%)
•    Work in clean, pleasant, and comfortable office setting

For applicants in the state of Colorado, the salary range for this role is $65,100 to $93,000. A candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, and experience. A candidate’s compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet’s corporate bonus plan.
