Representative, Sales Development 2
The Sales Development Representative II will focus on the full prospecting life cycle by executing a vertical-based business development strategy for start-up businesses in the areas of high-tech, finance, and professional firms. The person in this position will promote and generate business opportunities by engaging C-level executives on their human capital strategies.
- Manage a pre-call plan and conducting research on prospects.
- Develop high level communications and relationships with C-level executives via email and phone.
- Time and territory management.
- Qualify marketing opportunities through consultative selling.
- Manage data in the SalesForce CRM system to audit the prospecting life cycle.
- Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager's discretion.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
- Experience in prospecting and research
- Minimum 0-1 years of PEO experience
- Experience with SalesForce and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) preferred
- Experience in SaaS, Cloud, ERP, HRIS sales preferred
- Experience in consultative selling within technology, professional and financial services preferred

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization, including C-level communication
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
- Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Outstanding phone presence and business acumen
- Effective verbal skills to gain trust and interest of contacts via the phone
- Computer skills with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and preferably with CRMs
- Minimal travel required
