JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEW
The Employment Standards Manager is an expert employee relations consultant servicing assigned segment(s) of the business and is responsible for facilitating positive relationships with TriNet colleagues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
• Primarily provides Employee Relations services to assigned segments of the business; to included, conducting investigations, all complex & high-risk corrective action & PIP support;
• Provide ADR and conflict resolution services as required to various business units to help resolve conflict and promote positive relationships amongst colleagues;
• Frequently interacts with senior management on sensitive and complex matters;
• Lead cooperative efforts among members of a project team;
• Provide counsel and support to business leaders and CHR colleagues regarding policy & process interpretation and enforcement;
• Manage strategic initiatives for CHR compliance;
• Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree desired; or equivalent education and/or related work experience.

Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates):
• SPHR certification preferred
Experience:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Human Resources or related field
Broad based experience in Human Resources with exposure to employee relations and compliance knowledge.

• Strong influencing skills, ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive situations, without damage to the relationship
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization
• Knowledge and understanding of both state and federal employment laws
• Conflict resolution skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and coaching business leaders and HR colleagues
• A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
• Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

WORK ENVIRONMENT/OTHER INFORMATION (Travel required, physical requirements, on-call schedules, etc.)
• Up to 5% travel may be required
• Work in clean, pleasant, and comfortable office setting
