JOB DESCRIPTION
The Director, Cyber Threat Intel is responsible for performing the fundamental roles of a cyber security director which include but are not limited to: providing leadership across various cyber security related functions within TriNet, managing vulnerability management and threat hunting activities, assisting IT incident response teams with advanced security event management threat correlation, processing information on the latest cyber security events, and working with other technical and company leadership on including advanced cyber security methods into future company practices.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
• Lead the vulnerability management and threat hunting team
• Follow relevant trends surrounding practices involving cyber security analysis
• Establish industry cyber leadership and law enforcement relationships
• Establish business relevant cyber threat intelligence sources
• Assist Security Operations Center (SOC) personnel with advanced threat identification and incident response actions
• Communicate key cyber security concepts and findings with IT and company leadership
• Develop cyber security threat mitigation methods
• Coordinate external penetration testing activities
• Provide vulnerability and threat metrics for technical and business leadership stakeholders" "Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
• Relevant security leadership certification (i.e., CISSP, CISM)
• Relevant security incident response / forensics certification (i.e., OSCP, GIAC, CCFP, etc.)

Job Requirements & Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
• Relevant security leadership certification (i.e., CISSP, CISM)
• Relevant security incident response / forensics certification (i.e., OSCP, GIAC, CCFP, etc.)

Experience/KSAs:
• 10 years of relevant work experience with demonstrated leadership roles and innovative thinking
• Experience collaborating with other teams within a company to ensure product successes
• Ability to conduct individual research on pressing cyber security issues
• Possess technical aptitude and critical thinking skills while having the ability to think outside of the box to solve complex cyber security problems
• Effective, versatile and action-oriented
• Strategic thinker, data-driven and analytical in approach to solving problems
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Excellent judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge and experience with designing and implementing metrics and measurements
• Solid organizational/business planning and relationship building skills
• Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of cyber controls

Work Environment/Other Info

• Minimal Travel Required. Travel limited to training, occasional team meetings, and projects
• On-call after hours or weekend support may be required, as needed
