JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEW
The Solution Engineering organization is a customer-facing organization that delivers tailored solutions to customers. Solution Engineers are experts on the TriNet platform and technology and can explain the benefits of the platform and technology in terms of the business impact and value to the customer. Solution Engineers collaborate with customers to come up with solutions that are tailored to meet the customer’s needs. Solution Engineers are involved in adding value to the customer by connecting their ecosystem of various applications with TriNet APIs. Solution Engineers also collaborate with customers to understand the customers unique reporting needs that cannot be delivered using Workforce Analytics (WFA)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
• Discover customer needs by engaging in a strategic discussion with the Customer HR business contact and recommending best practice based on industry experience and feedback from other TriNet customers.
• Work with the customer’s IT team and their third-party vendors to define and have a detailed deep dive conversation to define and implement seamless integration of customer systems with TriNet.
• Identify third-party vendors that TriNet can partner with to meet the system integration needs of the customer.
• Build client loyalty and minimizes controllable client attrition through the effective management of custom client report creation and maintenance.
• Effective collaboration cross functionally with Sales, Products, CX and Account management teams to deliver value added services to customers
• Tracks and manages incoming requests and dispositions them appropriately to the right teams and takes ownership of requests that have to be owned and delivered by the solution engineering team.
• Tracks metrics that matter for the Solution Engineering organization and participates in QSRs and updates to the management team
• Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
• Bachelor's degree desired; or equivalent education and/or related work experience.
• Degree desired in engineering, science, business, management or marketing, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• MBA highly desired.
Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates):

Experience:
• Minimum 1-3 years' previous sales engineering, solution architect or technical solution engineering experience. Experience in working directly with customers is mandatory.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Proficient in having the right level of conversation with the customer and translating the customer needs into action to provide tailored solutions to customers.
• Plays the role of a Business Analyst and Is comfortable mapping customer needs to TriNet solutions.
• Well versed and comfortable in independently building tailored solutions using TriNet APIs and other relevant tools
• Takes independent action—implements new ideas or potential solutions without waiting for others to take action or to request action.
• Ability to quickly establish relationships and interact with business owners, executives and managers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization
• Strong knowledge and understanding of both state and federal employment laws
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
• A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
• Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

WORK ENVIRONMENT/OTHER INFORMATION (Travel required, physical requirements, on-call schedules, etc.)
• Minimum of 25% travel required
