JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEW
The Consultant, Learning and Development will have experience working in the field of training and development, and tailoring and deploying training programs to focus on standard training modules focused at employee and mid-management level clients. This customer centric role will assess customer needs and deliver tailored training programs to meet the needs of different audiences. Helps to establish best in class training programs on topics such as HR101, Compliance training, action-learning projects, career development tools, comprehensive management and leadership development, interpersonal skills, new leader integration, team building, time management, behavioral assessments, engagement surveys and other development programs. This role will be effective at designing and conducting training needs assessment to ensure programs address root cause issues and provide depth and scope for lasting impact. This customer centric role will collaborate and foster close relationships with leaders and colleagues to drive buy-in and adoption of programs by socializing the purpose and value of programs and their connection to overall customer business objectives, goals, and strategic initiatives. The Consultant, Learning & Development will ensure message consistency and deliver learning through various modalities with sound instructional design experience. Takes employee’s whole experience into account when training, planning for post-training sustainment. The successful person in this role will help to develop and lead innovative training solutions that help customers transform their organization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
• Primary customer contact is responsible for creating and delivering comprehensive learning programs, tools, and content including classroom, eLearning, online learning and social learning for our customers
•  Meets with customers on an as needed basis to conduct training needs assessments and identify common and core knowledge gaps
•  Develops learning solutions that support customers and their business objectives
•  Assesses, designs, develops, and implements best practices that support the full adult learning audience
•  Works on projects that require customer stakeholder collaboration, meticulous attention to detail, and process improvement strategies that support change management

• Understands the customer’s business model and aligns TriNet products and resources to deliver an outstanding customer experience
•  Responsible for customer satisfaction and retention, working closely to provide periodic business updates to clients regarding services rendered and value proposition
•  Helps shape solutions to fit TriNet’s and customers’ business needs and ensure that they meet desired business results in a timely manner
•  Assesses future-state and strategic learning and development needs for the customer 
•  Utilizes input from customer stakeholders to plan, develop, customize and implement appropriate materials, instructional content, and delivery mechanisms to achieve maximum learning and development results depending on the audience and functional group within TriNet
•  Creates design documents and storyboards to communicate instructional development plans to customer contacts
•  Maintains learning schedule and events calendar and handles program event logistics with duties that may include: agenda scheduling, organizing catering, material and supply orders
•  Follows instructional design process from needs assessment through evaluation to development of learning curriculums. Strong presentation and classroom management expertise
• Develops eLearning modules using text, graphics, animation, video, audio, and simulation elements
• Tracks and reports on project/program milestones
• Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years’ experience; or equivalent experience. PHR / SHRM-CP Preferred. Achieve Global or DDI certification, DISC, MBTI certification, Emotional Intelligence, a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/OTHER INFORMATION
Travel: 25 – 30%
