The Manager, Colleague Relations & Standards, helps to build and maintain a highly engaged, inclusive, and compliant culture built on purposeful and trusting relationships by providing colleague relations services and supporting HR compliance and strategic initiatives.  

•    Responsible for providing Colleague Relations services to assigned segments of the business; to include, conducting fair and objective investigations, advising managers through the corrective action process & ensuring that TriNet’s Values are adhered to throughout all processes.
•    Provide consultative performance management services to HR Business Partners on complex performance management processes and situations.
•    Conduct ADR and conflict resolution services as required to various business units to help resolve conflict and promote positive relationships amongst colleagues.
•    Lead collaborative efforts and partnerships among members of a project team to  provide positive experiences for colleagues through adherence to TriNet’s Core Values and key strategic initiatives, for example colleague engagement with volunteerism and supporting people analytics.  
•    Contribute to cross-functional team efforts, for example, the colleague experience of Returning to Office, ensuring that colleagues have an innovative, collaborative and, meaningful experience while working at TriNet. 
•    Help build and support HR processes for business continuity and health and safety matters; frequently interacts with senior management on sensitive and complex matters.
•    Provide counsel and support to business leaders and CHR colleagues regarding policy & process interpretation and enforcement.
•    Work with Corporate Employment Law team to review, analyze and advise CHR on new federal, state, or local laws. 
•    Manage strategic initiatives and provide thought leadership for CHR compliance and programs; and participate in other projects and responsibilities that may be added at the manager’s discretion.

•    Bachelor’s degree desired; or equivalent education and/or related work experience.
Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates): 
•    SPHR certification preferred
•    Minimum 8 years’ experience in Human Resources or related field
•    Broad- based experience in Human Resources with exposure to employee relations and compliance knowledge.

•    Knowledge and understanding of both state and federal employment laws

•    Excellent interpersonal skills 
•    Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
•    Comfortable working in ambiguity and coaching business leaders and HR colleagues
•    A proven dedication  to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
•    Ability to adapt to a fast- paced constantly evolving business and work environment while managing multiple priorities 
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

WORK ENVIRONMENT/OTHER INFORMATION (Travel required, physical requirements, on-call schedules, etc.)
•    Up to 5% travel may be required
