The Procurement Analyst is a self-starter who works hand-in-hand with internal and external stakeholders to drive cost and process efficiencies across the organization and support strategic purchasing objectives. The person in this position must exhibit customer-oriented focus and deliver service excellence in every engagement. The Analyst will be expected to execute purchasing transactions and negotiate contracts through the process via best-in-class practices. They will communicate effectively with stakeholders to prioritize and support category sourcing objectives. The successful candidate will understand core Procurement principals and will perform supporting functions for the team, including market analysis, lowest cost analysis and competitive bidding.

• Manage end to end procure-to-pay process, including but not limited to;
- Vendor Contract Review and Negotiation
- Stakeholder Management
- Vendor Engagement
- Purchase Order Requisitions
- Escalation Management
• Support category and business purchasing needs on a regular basis;
- Provide status updates on open requests
- Prioritize open and pending requests
- Understand client purchasing behavior, including purchasing frequency, vendor selection process, challenges, and concerns
- Educate Purchasers on Procurement Requirements, Systems, Procedures and Policy
- Articulate value proposition provided by Procurement Operations
• Support core Procurement functions, including Total Cost Analysis, market research and competitive bidding functions
• Assist as needed with obtaining properly reviewed and approved Master vendor contracts from Purchaser or Vendor; Ensure Sourcing Master data is updated accordingly.
• Ensure contracts and PO REQs comply with approval requirements
• Additional duties may be assigned by Director, Procurement Operations

Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates): ISM or APICs preferred

• 5 years’ customer service excellence experience
• 3-5 years’ experience purchasing services/indirect spend, including core knowledge of:
- Supply chain management
- Supplier development
- Lowest cost analysis
- Price-cost analysis
- Supplier analysis
- Market analysis
- Procurement best practices
• Demonstrated experience in Change Management and high comfort level with ambiguity
• Experience with purchasing, contract and documentation management processes and systems

• MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint functional skills
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Ability to follow up on pending issues, take initiative and escalate problems

WORK ENVIRONMENT/OTHER INFORMATION (Travel required, physical requirements, on-call schedules, etc.)
• Minimal travel may be required
• Must be able to meet deadlines and changing priorities and be able to work in a high-pressure environment
