Job Summary/Overview
The Compensation Analyst is responsible for supporting a variety of compensation related activities in a fast-paced environment. This role will be a key contributor in the ongoing development and revamping of compensation programs. Incumbent will participate in and utilize market surveys and data to support pay programs for the organization.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
• Support comp team with market valuations, job code requests and other analytical requests
• Participate in salary survey submissions
• Assist in developing compensation plans and plan documents
• Maintain job descriptions
• Prepare compensation related reports with high accuracy
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other teams in support of maintaining HR data integrity
• Support administration of focal review process
• Produce ad-hoc analysis based on business requests
• Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience:
• Minimum 2 years HR experience in fast-paced environment
• 1-2 years general compensation experience preferred
• Intermediate to advanced Excel (i.e. working knowledge or ability to learn: vlookups, nested functions, pivot tables, charts/graphs, etc.)
• Ability to work with large sets of data
• Experience in process improvement, customer service, and communication
• Strong analytical skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team, conduct research, formulate conclusions, and present conclusions regarding business issues
• Ability to develop presentation decks (PowerPoint)
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Excellent oral & written communication skills
• Excellent collaborative and consultative interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of HR systems (PeopleSoft) preferred
• Ability to adapt
• Ability to interact with people from all organizational levels
Work Environment/Other Info
• Typical office hours but are subject to change due to business needs and may include weekends.
